Sprayfo Blue is based on unique spray-dried whey-fat kernels.
Non-curding but specifically formulated for growing calves, it contains hydrolysed wheat protein, which has been shown to offer better digestive properties than other commonly used protein sources such as soy. That makes it a safer option for young calves during the early stages of life.
Sprayfo Blue gives you flexibility on farm.
It can be fed as the sole milk source, or used to fortify and enrich cow’s milk when you want to lift the plane of nutrition, or used later on as a calf finisher.
Added Support for Gut Health and Immunity
Sprayfo Blue includes prebiotics, probiotics, organic acids, and natural vitamin E. These components are included to support gut health and overall calf development.
As with any calf rearing programme, calves should receive high quality colostrum within the first 12 hours of life, followed by colostrum milk for the first 3 to 4 days to help strengthen their natural immune system before transitioning onto milk replacer.

Quality whey-based formulas are easily digested in the gut, moving through a calf in only 2-3 hours, compared to 5-8 hours for traditional curding (casein) formulas.

With whey powders moving through an animal’s system in 2-3 hours, they will seek out concentrates (meal) sooner.
- Early intake of concentrates helps to encourage early rumen development, allowing calves to more effectively utilise cheaper feed sources, sooner.
